Easy One-Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta
Penne cooked right in the sauce, finished with cream and Parmesan.

- Step 1. Heat the 15 g olive oil in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Step 2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
- Step 3. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir until the tomato paste is dissolved.
- Step 4. Add the uncooked penne and stir well.
- Step 5. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Step 6. Cook uncovered for about 12–15 minutes, stirring every few minutes so the pasta does not stick.
- Step 7. Once the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, reduce the heat to low.
- Step 8. Stir in the 120 mL cream and 50 g Parmesan.
- Step 9. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Step 10. Remove from the heat and serve with fresh basil and extra Parmesan if desired.
